Today's enterprises and organizations heavily rely on the network for efficiency in their operations. At the same time most of them also provide Internet accesses to their employees at work. Competition of the limited network resources and the price tags of more bandwidth subscriptions constantly challenge the IT, especially for cross-site accesses between different branches. The recent popularity of P2P applications makes the bandwidth competitions and congestions even worse on enterprises and organizations' WAN links.
